Roof measure · aerial survey

Measure any roof from an address.

Type an address and we pull the roof geometry straight from Google's aerial survey — every plane, its true slanted area, and its measured pitch. Then price it with 2026 industry cost-per-square figures. This is the same measurement attached to every roofing appointment Home Source sells on Blitz.

How the numbers are built. Roof geometry comes from Google's Solar API, which returns each roof plane's slanted surface area and measured pitch from low-altitude aerial imagery at 0.1 m per pixel. Where a building isn't covered, trace the outline manually and we apply the industry pitch factor (2/12 = 1.014 · 4/12 = 1.054 · 6/12 = 1.118 · 9/12 = 1.250 · 12/12 = 1.414). Installed cost per square blends 2026 material and labour figures; steep pitches add 20–40% to labour. Estimates are for scoping — they are not a bid.
